Focusing upon local seafood of the highest quality and fresh, seasonal produce, Corte Sconta is an intimate neighbourhood trattoria that has raised the bar of local Italian trattoria dining. Located near the shipyards of Castello, Corte Sconta is one of the favourite local dining spots of local foodies and in-the-know tourists. Marco Projetto has created a relaxed ambience that perfectly matches his menu, where he’ll take you on a journey of light, fresh and delicious antipasti such as sardele in saor (sweet and sour local sardines), tiny soft-shelled crabs, and perfectly cooked baby octopus; then onwards to light yet flavoursome fresh pasta dishes such as gnocchi with mantis shrimps, along with more robust seafood secondi. Make sure that you leave some room for their out of this world desserts such as their heavenly zabalione served warm. The charming leafy courtyard terrace is our favourite place to dine during the warmer summer months. Closed on Sundays and Mondays. Bookings essential.
