This classic French restaurant conceived by legendary French chef Alain Ducasse is the height of opulence and Vegas decadence. Located on the 64th floor of THEhotel Mandalay Bay, one of the more exclusive and coveted hotels in the city, the restaurant offers some of the most stunning views of the Strip you could ask for. The setting itself is lavish and richly decorated by Patrick Jouin, with white and silver accents, dramatic staircases, classic American modern furniture and a 24 foot chanelier made of 15,000 hand blown glass spheres. The curvaceous bar attracts quite a crowd each night, for cocktails and lack tapas style snacks. The perfectly curated menu includes cod brandade with lemon, capers and brown butter; rack of colorado lamb with shiitake gratin and stuffed piquillo peppers; curried main lobster with coconut basmati rice; and seared diver scallops with swiss chard and green onions. Don’t miss out on the traditional French desserts, like profiteroles or baba rhum. The dinner’s price tag will definitely push the limit for some, but the setting and overall experience are worth it.
