Located in Grosvenor’s House, this fine dining Indian restaurant has a beautifully modern dining room, decorated in reds and whites alongside traditional Hindu iconography. But there’s nothing traditional about the food on this menu - and in fact we’d suggest staying away from those basic “authentic” dishes (like chicken madras) - because what Vineet Bhatia, the London-based multi-Michelin starred chef, excels in is creatively extending the Indian flavour profile onto Western favourites. Try the honey-basted tandoori salmon, lamb chops with ginger and garlic, seafood and raw mango curry, green herb tandoori monk fish, and prawns poached in coconut milk and chili. The prices of this restaurant are extremely high, but this is the only high end Indian restaurant in town for modern diners looking for impeccable service, elegant decor and yet a relaxed, fun vibe. Indian restaurants abound in Dubai, but this is the one for style-conscious diners.
