The chic yet understated 1105 cocktail bar is where fashionable 30-somethings relax to jazz and Motown oldies with dark gray interiors, Tom Dixon lamps, and a seriously good cocktail list by the prize-winning British mixologist, Gromit Eduardsen. Well-known in Copenhagen for his time at the Hotel Fox, his sophisticated, well-crafted cocktails are the drink of choice here, however there is also as extensive selection of artisanal beers and champagne to be discovered. The signature drink is the no. 4, a version of the classic 1920s Bees’ Knees with Tanqueray gin, lime juice, honey spruced up with black pepper and cardomom. 1105 is also home to the 2009 Danish Cocktail Champion, the paradoxically bright red Cucumber Yum Yum with British gin and Danish aquavit with raspberries and cucumber. Open Wednesday - Saturday from 8 pm - 2 am (Friday opens at 4 pm).
